But it is also the 5th country in the world for the annual number of interventions of aesthetic medicine, while as population, it’s not even among the first 20 ones. In 2009, in spite of the crisis, the consumption of botox increased by 25 % there.

It’s thus the first country in the world for the use of aesthetic medicine, in proportion of its population.
